Official Wimbledon apps now available to download

The official Wimbledon iPhone and Android apps are now available to download from the Apple app store and Google play store respectively. 

The iPhone app is re-modelled and improved for 2012, while the Android app is the first official Wimbledon app on that platform.

Key features are:

- LIVE scores.
- Results.
- Schedule of play.
- Draws.
- News.
- Player profiles.
- On demand video previews, highlights, features, interviews and golden moments
- Photos.
- Live @ Wimbledon Radio – 3 channels: Daily coverage of The Championships and two channels dedicated to Centre Court and No.1 Court commentary of live match play.
- Find It – lets spectators locate facilities around the grounds at Wimbledon.

iPhone app requirements: Compatible with iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPod touch (3rd generation), iPod touch (4th generation) and iPad. NB Requires iOS 5.0 or later.

Android app requirements: Requires Android 2.2 and up.
