Tamira Paszek talks films, fashion and Thai food...
Q: What are your main interests outside tennis?
TP: Relaxing, reading a book, listening to music. I love fashion so I love going out shopping in the city, especially in London because there are great shops.
Q: Who were your idols growing up?
TP: Definitely my parents. They looked after me really well and I had a great childhood.
Q: Did you have any idols in tennis?
TP: Maria Sharapova, also Austrian player Thomas Muster and definitely Roger Federer.
Q: What type of music do you like?
TP: I’m into pretty much everything but definitely pop and house music. It depends what kind of mood I’m in.
Q: What is the most played song on your mp3 at the moment?
TP: I follow Rivers by Lykke Li and also Chop My Money by P Square ft. Akon.
Q: What is your favourite film?
TP: I love going to the cinema actually and watching new movies but one of my favourite ones is The Notebook.
Q: Who is your celebrity crush?
TP: I love Ryan Gosling and Ryan Reynolds. They’re amazing actors and it’s really fun watching their movies.
Q: What is your favourite food?
TP: I’m absolutely into Thai food. It’s very light and I could eat it every day.
Q: Where would you like to go on holiday next?
TP: I would love to go to the Maldives or Bora Bora.
Q: If you weren’t a professional tennis player, what would you be doing?
TP: I’d probably be a fashion designer because I’m absolutely into fashion.
Q: If you were a man for a day, what would you do?
TP: That’s a tricky one. Well I’d go in the men’s locker room (laughs).
