Heather Watson talks food, films and 50 Cent…

Q: What are your main interests outside tennis?

HW: Sports wise I love to play basketball and go swimming in the sea. I prefer swimming in the sea rather than pools. I also enjoy just hanging out with my friends and having a good time.

Q: Who were your idols when you were growing up?

HW: When I was younger I liked the Williams sisters and now I like Usain Bolt a lot, and Lewis Hamilton.

Q: Who is your celebrity crush?

HW: Trey Songz.

Q: If you could meet anyone past or present, who would it be?

HW: I would love to meet 50 Cent because he’s got such a crazy story and is so successful now.

Q: What is your favourite film?

HW: My favourite film would have to be Léon: The Professional. It’s a hitman thriller with Natalie Portman.

Q: Favourite TV show?

HW: At the moment I’ve been enjoying 8 Out of Ten Cats, I’ve been finding that quite funny.

Q: What type of music are you into?

HW: I like all music except country.

Q: What is your favourite song at the moment?

HW: My favourite song at the moment is Calvin Harris ft. Ne-Yo – Lets Go

Q: If you could learn a new talent, what would it be?

HW: I would love to able to speak another language.

Q: What is your favourite food?

HW: My favourite food is one hundred per cent Asian food, like sushi and sashimi. I also love eel, it’s unreal.

Q: Describe you ideal holiday.

HW: My ideal holiday would be with about five friends at a place with a really nice beach, maybe Cancun, just relaxing, sunbathing and talking about boys.

Q: If you weren’t a professional tennis player, what do you think you would be doing?

HW: I’d probably be doing something to do with sport because I love being active or I’d be try to be a fashion designer.

Q: What is your favourite animal?

HW: My favourite animal is a tiger, but I love dogs too.
