For Kevin Anderson Wimbledon provides the added bonus of a chance to visit family and relax here in London.
Why I love Wimbledon: "I would like to come up with something different to what other players are telling you, but it's kind of tough because I'm sure everyone is going to say the history and the tradition. That's a big factor. One reason I really like it is that I play Queen's before Wimbledon so I'm in London for a while and we rent a house in the Wimbledon or Southfields area. It's great not to be in a hotel. And I've got some family living in London so it's always great to catch up with them. For a month, I almost feel like I become a Londoner. We're not in the city a lot but we really enjoy going out to the theatre. It's a special tournament and time of the year. We have brais in the evenings."
My tips for a fan attending Wimbledon for the first time: "Just walk around the grounds. Wherever you are in the grounds, the experience is going to be special. Heading off to the Museum will be interesting. And some of the concession stands they have are very traditional. A camera would be good thing to bring. With all the history and tradition, there are so many cool pictures to take."
My first memory of watching Wimbledon: "I was really young. It was always something special to watch Wimbledon. The grass made it unique. They used to show it a lot on TV in South Africa. I remember the theme music the programme had. At a young age, you don't comprehend the whole thing, but you see the grass, and everyone playing in all white, and you realise it's pretty special."
How I relax between matches: "I've been learning how to play the guitar. That's something I enjoy doing. My mum keeps asking me to play her some tunes, but right now I'm just learning all the different notes. I've got a travel electric guitar which I take on the road with me. My acoustic guitar is a bit too big so that's at home."

The one player from the past I would like to face on Centre Court: "I would like to play Boris Becker. He was a very physical player with a big serve, he came in to net, and moved very well."
My first memory of competing: "I played in the juniors on one of the courts near Centre Court, so I was looking up at that stadium. That was cool. I had only ever seen Centre Court on TV before then."
My Wimbledon highlight: "I reached the fourth round last year, which was my best result. Hopefully, I'll be able to improve on that. I already have some great memories and hopefully I'll be able to create some more."
My favourite Wimbledon tradition: "I like the fact there's no play on the Middle Sunday. I've experienced that a couple of times. It's a different feel. It's quite cool to walk around the grounds on that day when there's no one around. It's in the middle of the tournament, and there's so much going on, but it's a little break and a bit more relaxing."
How I spend my time during a rain delay: "It's tough. You want to try to keep warm. It can be a little frustrating at times. You're in the locker-room trying to stay relaxed, but at the same time your match is on your mind."
How I adapt my game to grass: "I change a little bit. I try not to change it too much. The biggest thing is getting used to the movement. The movement is very different to other surfaces. For me, the biggest thing is feeling comfortable about changing direction."
